May 1st is the Labor day "3id l Amal" in Lebanon! And this year in support to migrant workers, several NGOs and individual activists will celebrate this day by demanding migrant workers’ right for good working conditions, starting with the minimal right for at least one day off a week.

FRIDAY, APRIL 30
African Dance Party at Art Lounge, Qarantina, from 9 PM to 2 AM.
SATURDAY, MAY 1 LABOR DAY
9 AM TO 2 PM - Asian and African Food Festival and a Capoeira performance at Souk el Tayeb, Saifi parking lot.
3 PM TO 5PM - Solidarity march from under the Qarantina bridge to Ein el Mreisseh square.
5:30 PM- Free concert at Ein el Mreisseh square.
THROUGHOUT THE DAY AROUND BEIRUT
Public performances by Clown Me In, Kiki Bokassa and Semaan Khawam, and a city-wide photography exhibition by Elsie Haddad.
