Since I got back to the gym, I got interested again into sportswear and shoes.

Adidas is the brand I like most since I was a kid, so I keep tracing all their new stuff and collaborations.

You can see my previous post about their collaboration with Oysho.

The product that i'm going to introduce to you today is Adidas new launch: ClimaCool® Seduction

With the launch of the new ClimaCool® Seduction, adidas offers a 360° ventilated running experience for an improved performance and the coolest ride yet. New ventilation channels across the outsole and the use of ClimaCool® material on the upper of the shoe help to evaporate sweat, keep temperatures within the shoe low and provide ventilation from all sides.

In addition, COOLEVER lining, a special clover-shaped yarn, keeps the foot cool, dry and comfortable during the run. The achieved performance benefit of 360° ventilation reduces thermal stress and discomfort during workouts and results in an increased running performance. Well-known adidas technologies such as the durable adiWEAR® outsole for improved traction and durability and a soft and flexible midsole for maximum comfort complete the shoe.

The ClimaCool® Seduction is also featured in the latest chapter of the adidas ONE BRAND CAMPAIGN where Katy Perry, David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Derrick Rose and others enjoy the shoe’s ventilation benefits.

The Revolution Fighting Champion (RFC) is the First International Mixed Martial Arts League in the MENA Region.

And their objective is to organize world class professional sporting events aimed at exposing and elevating Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) as a professional sport throughout the Middle East & North Africa.

"By organizing professional events of this size, we establish solid grounds and create the appropriate infrastructure for fighters in the region to showcase their skills and expertise and encourage them to further develop their areas of specialty through fair competition and diverse engagement.

In efforts to support the development of our communities, particularly youths, RFC is an initiative to FIGHT “DRUG ABUSE” – FIGHT DRUGS with SPORTS.

This initiative utilizes the interest and passion of youths for this sport to encourage them and drive their appetite towards living well, staying healthy and fighting addiction."

It was held at Beirut Sports City, I really wanted to see the games live and how it goes. if it's close to WWF or not  but I missed it    Hopefully I will next time!

Muhammad Ali, is an American former professional boxer, philanthropist, and social activist. Considered a cultural icon,  Ali was both idolized and vilified.

Originally known as Cassius Clay, Ali changed his name after joining the Nation of Islam in 1964, converting to Sunni Islam in 1975 and more recently practicing Sufism. 

 In 1967, three years after Ali had won the World Heavyweight Championship he was publicly vilified for his refusal to be conscripted into the U.S. military, based on his religious beliefs and opposition to the Vietnam War.  Ali stated, "I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong... No Viet Cong ever called me nigger" – one of the more telling remarks of the era.  

Widespread protests against the Vietnam War had not yet begun, but with that one phrase, Ali articulated the reason to oppose the war for a generation of young Americans, and his words served as a touchstone for the racial and antiwar upheavals that would rock the 1960s. Ali's example inspired Martin Luther King Jr. 

Ali would eventually be arrested and found guilty on draft evasion charges; he was stripped of his boxing title, and his boxing license was suspended. He was not imprisoned, but did not fight again for nearly four years while his appeal worked its way up to the U.S. supreme court, where it was eventually successful.

Ali would go on to become the first and only three-time lineal World Heavyweight Champion 

Nicknamed "The Greatest," Ali was involved in several historic boxing matches. Notable among these were three with rival Joe Frazier which are considered among the greatest in boxing history, and one with Gierge Foreman,  where he finally regained his stripped titles seven years later. 

Ali was well known for his unorthodox fighting style, which he described as "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", and employing techniques such as the Ali Shuffle and the rope-a-dope.

Ali had brought beauty and grace to the most uncompromising of sports and through the wonderful excesses of skill and character, he had become the most famous athlete in the wrold.

 In 1999, Ali was crowned "Sportsman of the century" by Sports illustrated and "Sports personality of the Century" by the BBC.  

The conviction and courage Muhammad Ali has shown throughout his life continues to inspire millions of 
people around the world. 

Ali’s work to promote respect, hope and understanding, has empowered adults and children everywhere to be as great as they can be.

Boxing icon Muhammad Ali will celebrate his 70th birthday in his hometown of Louisville, where the Muhammad Ali Center will mark the occasion with a series of events starting January 14.

"On January 14, 2012, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, Ali will be celebrating his 70th birthday among friends, admirers, and people who have made a difference in his life," center officials said in a statement.

The fund-raiser is part of the center's "Seven Days for Seven Decades" program of community activities.
