"Abou Elie" is a small pub located in Hamra – Karakas Street (X- Greenpeace building).
When you see it from the outside, you might think it's a mini market or small grocery store, or maybe a network......... but NO... it is a small pub, family business.
Abou Elie was in charge of the pub, until he passed away not long time ago, now his wife and son are taking over the business. But this pub is like what you never seen before; it very old, not
fancy at all, it has the Che Guevara style, Che pictures everywhere hanged on the walls.
There are several things that make this pub special:
- The music, Fayrouz and Rahbani songs escorts you all night long, you can even choose the songs you want to hear.
- Their pricing are very normal, not expensive at all, and along the drinks they offer you whatever fruits they have; nuts, raisins, lupin, oranges, bananas, lemon, dates,…
- The pub even has its own 10 wills

the picture isn't clear, i'll try to have a better one next time!
The pub is always full of foreigners, who fall in love with it and come back over and over again…
